DESCRIPTION

As a mid-level designer, I’m currently working on several internal and external-facing projects for GLAAD.

Fresh on the heels of a complete redesign and brand repositioning, GLAAD’s new aesthetic is rooted in modern and young design. As part of the creative team, I’ve worked on several internal projects, including providing support for the 36th GLAAD Media Awards and conducting surveys to develop new solutions for GLAAD’s ever-evolving social media presence.

While the creative team at GLAAD is small, our systems-based approach has proven successful in furthering GLAAD’s mission time and time again.

Holiday Initiative Select graphics of ethnic/cultural holidays celebrated by GLAAD on social media

Inaugural Latine Honors Branding and graphic work for GLAAD’s first Latine Honors - an event meant to uplift and spotlight Latine creatives, artists, and activists in the LGBTQ+ community
Social media assets created for Instagram to announce the event programming
Graphics created for promotion. L to R: Save the Date, Signage, Web Headers

GLAAD’s Weather Watch Custom illustrations and identity work for a news and rapid response initiative/campaign that tracks anti-LGBTQ news in 2025
Art direction for this project was rooted in 70s-90s cartoon specials, CRT television sets, and moody dreamscapes
Preliminary logo explorations for the original project title, GLAAD Weather Channel. A heavy emphasis on 70s and 80s type styling
A secondary direction that had a major focus on 3D graphics. This direction drew heavily on weather forecasting graphics shown on greenscreen

2025 Pride Campaign Select social assets developed to celebrate and educate LGBTQ people and their allies
